Domain Names

As well as being a lead generator and provider. Price Engines was one of the earliest Internet Service Providers in the Country.

What is a domain name?

A domain name will give your website a specific name and address that will be used to find your website. Without a domain name, your websites web address would be just a series of numbers, making your website a lot harder for customers to find.

What to consider when choosing a domain name

When choosing a domain name for your organisation’s website, it is important that you think about how easily the domain name will be remembered by people trying to find you. Using your business name rather than abbreviations in your domain name will make your website easier for more people to find. For example priceengines.co.uk is the first thing that our customers will think of when trying to find us.
A domain name can be up to 63 characters long, but will be more effective and memorable if it is kept between 6-15 characters.
